Beauty At Different Angle~

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

Beauty lies in the eye of beholder.

How true is the proverb! What we may perceive as beauty might be otherwise for the other persons and vice versa.

I guess it is all God’s work so that everything is fair, or almost fair. If everything has the same level of beauty to everyone, what will happen to the less beauty thing in the world?

Anything~

Saying ‘anything’ doesn’t make you flexible. It just show that you are indecisive or lazy to make a decision.

It just show that you are uninterested.

It just show that you are not bothered.

Say something. Make a decision.

It helps!

Shampoo It Right!

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

The last time I went to my hairstylist, he gave me some useful advices when he saw that I am starting to have hair loss problem at such young age. It probably due to the way I shampoo my hair, using those drugstore shampoo which is too strong for my scalp.

Here are some steps to a wonderfully washed hair :

1.
Don’t lather on dry hair, put more water and make sure it is totally wet!

2.
Apply shampoo only on the scalp and lather. Not the hair ends.

3.
Do NOT scratch your scalp when you lather, but massage gently with the pad of your fingers.

4.
Buy shampoo that is good and nourishing for your hair (not because of the shampoo scent is nice).

Well, hope I can have healthier scalp and healthier and lustrous hair! You too!

Making Friend with Loneliness..

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

I couldn’t shake off the loneliness that crept inSneaking in like an experienced thief

I couldn’t figure the way to handle it

So I might as well as make friend with it.

The loneliness is a good friend to be

Accompanying you like a silly queen

It listens to you as you wept and sleep

Till the morning by your side faithfully.

What Others Read..

Random : Today in the LRT, I saw someone reading a book while standing at the middle of the train and he was really immense in it.

He was standing right opposite me, holding up his book high. And thus I stole a glance at the title of the book which is as thick as the novel that I always read (a few hundred pages).

The title of his book : The London Marathon – The History of the Greatest Race on Earth.

Man!!! How interesting could it be? I’m bored by the title itself. (=.=)”london_marathon1.jpg

Ideal Weight?

Monday, June 8th, 2009

People are just never satisfied about their look, or so I concluded when both my overweight and underweight friends frequently moan about their weight. What is the ideal weight? I guess it depends on individual expectation. Well, I guess people are seldom happy with what they already have. My overweight friend is consistently looking for the top 10 rated diet pills to shed a few more pounds.
For me, I think it is more important to have good health and happy life!

Why do I eat Oats?

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

Now I make it a point to eat oats at least twice every week. I bought those oats that need to be cooked instead of the flavoured instant oat which I think isn’t as good as the cooking oat.

It is more troublesome but with the amazing goodness to deal with my high cholesterol, I am willing to take it twice a week for dinner. My basic recipe is 5-7 big tablespoons of oats with sausage (or Chinese sausage), lettuce pickles (or beans), anchovies (depending on availability) and black sesame.

It tastes quite good and acceptable for my level as sometimes I am too busy to cook other stuffs or to buy dinner. So the oat dinner is simple and good.

The benefit of eating oats including :

-
lowering your blood cholesterol level

-
it’s a natural antidepressant which will make you calmer

-
cooked oat will relieve stress!

-        Protect from bowel cancer with its high fibre

-
Reduce heart disease risk

-
Stabilize blood glucose level for people with diabetes
