Comfy?

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Every time just before I go for travel, I always wondered what shoes should I wear. Should I opt for a comfy Cole Haan shoes or should I go for a more fancy shoes that would look good in the photos!

Yes, I do have plenty of thoughts about them. But whenever I asked anyone, they would say that when it comes to travelling, comfort comes first! Especially if you are going for a shopping spree where you’ll be walking all day long!

I guess for this round, comfy takes higher priority!

Packing!

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

This morning, Suz told me about her nightmare which she was chased by a group of monster. How funny is that!
I realised that I seldom have this type of ridiculous nightmare. The only constant nightmare that I always have is I was going to miss my flight or bus and I was not done with packing. The pressure of getting everything I need to pack and making sure I didn’t miss the flight. There was even one time when I dreamt of rv breakdown.

But of course it wasn’t as bad as packing in my dream! I just hate those dreams! I even felt tense in my sleep!

Dinner

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

This year, my company held the annual dinner twice, once at the beginning of the year and one at the end of the year; which was just recently.
Of course I didn’t join the first one as I wasn’t even an employee yet when it was held. But I saw some photos of them and I thought it look fun with all the games.

This time round, I expected the same level of fun but to my disappointment, it was rather a dull one. There was only one game which was using the XBox and only a few participants at a time. Perhaps there were not enough time to organise as many were very busy with projects. Let’s hope for a better one next year!

Splurge

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Finally, tomorrow I’ll be flying to Bangkok for a shopping spree! Or I felt that it is more to a well-deserved-post-project-break for me as I’ve felt a little too tired from all the time and effort on the project. I can’t wait to splurge on fancy t-shirts, MBT shoes and stuffs!

I’ve been to Bangkok a couple of years and fancy that I am still excited on my second visit! I didn’t even feel so excited for Hanoi or Bali trips previously.I think only shopping excites me these days. :)
