I helped my brother to pay the road tax through the online services of MyEG; which was wonderfully efficient and easy! I found out about the service a couple of years ago when his road tax was about to expire and he didn’t have time to renew it as he was too busy.
A friend advised me to try their service which was pretty convenient. The payment is either through online banking or credit card. They would post the road tax to you within a day to you; of course you’ll have to bear the postage charges! Apart from renewing road tax, you can also get an insurance quote from the website.
