My Fluffy Life~

Over the weekend, I went shopping with both of my two best friends, looking for tinted moisturiser. I went to many counters like Estee Lauder, Shiseido, Clinique, Stilla, Bobby Browns and some others. Only three has tinted moisturiser and I had the promoter tried the for me. 

It is the first time I see it and I felt that it is not up to my expectation. I mean I suppose it will works well but somehow I felt that it is almost same like foundation but perhaps more moisturising. And I have to apply loose powder on it as well and remove with make up remover. 

Which makes me think why do I want to have it at the first place? Why don’t I use my existing foundation? Well I guess I am just lazy and I thought tinted moisturiser is a way out. Apparently not. And I have not buy it yet. Maybe I would. Maybe not. =)

A kissable lip?

Here’s a little advice to keep your lip soft, pretty and healthy! For girls and guys too!

1. Before you go to sleep, dab a generous amount of lip balm on your lip. Optionally, you can also use Vaseline.

2. In the morning, exfoliate your lip with your tooth brush softly before brushing your teeth. Yes, lip needs exfoliating too!

3. Before applying your lippie, dab a little lip balm on the lips, preferable with SPF to protect against UV. Apply lippie. It’ll look soft and smooth, kissable lip!

4. Occasionally use lip mask to pamper your lip!  

I realised that I have been grinding teeth in my sleep and this freak me out a little. I do not know how long it has been going on but I’ve been told that I’ve been grinding for 3 consecutive nights.Is this due to stress, fatique or braces?

I am not so sure and thus I googled about the condition and found that it is labelled as Bruxism. It can cause fracturing, loosening or even loss of teeth! My goodness!

Apart from that, it could also affect jaws, result in hearing loss and change the appearance of the face.Some tips that I found out on how to prevent teeth grinding is as below :

- Avoid or cut back on foods and drinks that contain caffeine, such as colas, chocolate, and coffee.

- Avoid alcohol. Grinding tends to intensify after alcohol consumption.

- Do not chew on pencils or pens or anything that is not food. Avoid chewing gum as it allows your jaw muscles to get more used to clenching and makes you more likely to grind your teeth.

- Train yourself not to clench or grind your teeth. If you notice that you clench or grind during the day, position the tip of your tongue between your teeth. This practice trains your jaw muscles to relax

- Relax your jaw muscles at night by holding a warm washcloth against your cheek in front of your earlobe.

It was a pleasant surprise to get the response from my uncle in London and aunt in Singapore after all this years. I mean we seldom get in touch with each other over the years and have never been close with them.

As I got their numbers and have been recently visiting my aunt in Singapore, I texted her to wish her CNY greetings. I was elated to get her response late evening yesterday. My uncle also replied that he’ll see us soon, is he coming to M’sia again? I remembered the last time he came, he brought a box of White Owl cigars for my father.Well, hope I would not miss him if he drops again.  Sometimes soon, I hope!

This time round, I didn’t bring my laptop back to hometown for the long break. But guess what, I am still able to surf net and watch movies on lappy as my brother got an extra laptop this year and USB modem. All I have to bring back is my harddisk with all my movies and stuffs.

And the best thing is I am able to check my emails regularly so that it would not be spam as usual long holidays with all those junk emails and free insurance quotes.

My parents were discussing about an uncle of mine with my cousins today, when they came over for visiting. They were talking about my uncle who is a bit sickish of late due to many diseases; probably due to his highly sinful food intakes for the past many years.

I guess someday we are to pay for the food that we take especially when we are younger & stronger. My father seems to be wise and healthy when discussing it but it upset me a little when he took 3 chicken wings shortly after he left. One minute he was preaching about how to reduce stomach fat and the next minute he was walloping all the sinful stuffs in not too little portion.

I think I am overly concern about his health and I am just too worried that anything might happen to him. =(

Chinese New Year, always come a little too frequently or so I felt although it is just once a year. Maybe it is always the beginning of the year, which makes the presence a little too strong and a little too fast.

It is time to meet the relatives again and every year, I am surprised to see how fast the kids grow. The little toddler cousin is now 10 years old! The three children are now in their teen and college years and one even spoke about best seo software.

And of course, the elders are growing old as well. Another year..

I am always a lazy person when it comes to skin care and beauty regime. And even my brother was so much better at me, looking at his skincare regime that he does every day or every week.He got himself a white egg masque yesterday that supposedly good in get rid of blackheads. I tried using it yesterday and well, don’t really observe any difference. Maybe I need more blackhead? Anyway, I am just happy of the many samples of bb cream that I got through his purchases yesterday. =)

A day before the Chinese New Year, my parents, brother and I went for a last minute shopping trip at the New Jaya Jusco. We shopped for an 6 hours straight.

My brother was in a very generous mood and splurged at the skincare shop; buying some essence and organic face cream for my mother and some masque for himself. My father got a new pair of pants and shoes while I got myself 3 tops.

Indeed a nice shopping trip with family. =)

The other day as I was in the LRT on the way to work, I stood in front of the seats. Little did I realise that the lady who sat there was my ex-colleague whom I haven’t met for years! We chatted and caught up with each other.

Well, good luck to her and it’s a nice surprise to meet each other again.
