A day before the Chinese New Year, my parents, brother and I went for a last minute shopping trip at the New Jaya Jusco. We shopped for an 6 hours straight.
My brother was in a very generous mood and splurged at the skincare shop; buying some essence and organic face cream for my mother and some masque for himself. My father got a new pair of pants and shoes while I got myself 3 tops.
Indeed a nice shopping trip with family. =)
The other day as I was in the LRT on the way to work, I stood in front of the seats. Little did I realise that the lady who sat there was my ex-colleague whom I haven’t met for years! We chatted and caught up with each other.
She was in the midst of job search but unfortunately none of the open positions in my company suited her. Well, after Chinese New Year would be a great time to find for a new job as many would leave after getting the bonus.
Well, good luck to her and it’s a nice surprise to meet each other again.
