Much as I love to gulp cold water after hearty meals, I always try to prevent myself from doing so. Unless I didn’t have much choice, but which rarely happens. Most of the time, it is just my desire.

This is because the cold water would make your stomach not in a good condition for digestion as the temperature is too low. Drinking herbal tea or warm lemon juice is okay though. Peppermint tea also helps in digestion.

Drinking too much of water will dilute the enzymes in the stomach and prevent digestion efficiency. So, don’t drink too much during meals and don’t drink cold water!
